I’ve been tracking this movement for several years. Last night I had a long Skype conversation with Richard Flyer, who launched the movement in Reno, and has been helping it evolve and spread ever since. It’s a unique kind of movement, in that it isn’t promoting any cause. Rather it is about building networks among existing movements and groups, and about introducing consciousness-building processes into those networks.
It’s very much along the lines I’ve been writing about recently: developing the infrastructure of a ‘conscious society’. For any of you who are involved in any kind of activism, or in any kind of local groups, I recommend checking out this movement. It could be a way to add another dimension of effectiveness to what you’re already doing.
