President Bashar al-Assad after his meeting with Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, "talks underlined the significance of working as to seize peace opportunity, if it exits, and Russia's role to attain security and stability in the region." "Russia is keen on working with Syria towards a comprehensive settlement of Arab-Israeli struggle", said Lavrov.
