I wonder how many people notice the parallel between these two stories. In the second story, we have an individual unit accused of randomly killing a civilian, and being investigated for it. In the first story, we have a systematic campaign of randomly killing civilians, and that is reported as sound policy. Such is the nature of propaganda in the Fourth Reich.
