The shooting occurred as FBI agents tried to arrest six prison workers, CNN said. The FBI denied a CNN report that an FBI agent was one of the dead. MSNBC said two prison workers were dead. A spokeswoman at the Federal Detention Center in Tallahassee could not immediately confirm the deaths, but said the shootings did not involve inmates. Prison spokeswoman Carla Wilson said the victims had been taken to a local hospital. "The community is safe and there were no inmate injuries," she said The detention center is one of two federal prisons located in the Florida state capital and is used for short-term incarcerations.
